I would recommend this book to anyone who cares about their community and who has any kind of responsibility as a volunteer, elected official or Chamber of Commerce Director.
This is a great book for those of us working in rural community develpment.

This is a terrific book for anyone who is seriously interested in growing small communities. While the 13 things we do that hurt our communities might be "obvious" I found things I was unconsciously thinking that are damaging. Really good way to start conversations in a community.
I discovered this book on a Canadian road trip and had to buy two more to give it as gifts because I couldn't part with my copy. (They loved it!) I highly recommend this book for anyone who does outreach or works with the public and education. Funny, sharp, and fun! 5 stars!
